Wildcare has created several written tutorials and patterns for sewn items commonly used by wildlife rescuers and carers. The volunteer wildlife community greatly appreciate the time, resources and care that our crafty community members put into creating these items. Wildcare gratefully accepts sewn items for distribution to our volunteers from the South-east Queensland community. However, given the current cost of postage, if you live outside of SEQ, we encourage you to reach out to your local wildlife group to check what supplies they may need. Your local group may have alternative patterns they prefer. The needs of groups will also vary significantly between location – for example, carers in the southern States will need much warmer pouches than we will in Queensland.
